Baller Sports Center is more than a facility. It’s a mission-driven home for youth athletes where confidence building meets skill development, and where hard work is paired with encouragement. Based in Burlington, NC, our center houses two flagship programs — Volleyballer Training Academy and Baller Basketball — under a unified vision: to build stronger athletes and stronger people.
Our Why
Sports teach far more than how to spike or shoot. They instill discipline, resilience, teamwork, and leadership. We exist to give young athletes a positive, high-performance environment to grow — in skill, in character, and in self‐belief.
Volleyballer Training Academy
Volleyballer is our year-round, volleyball-only program, serving athletes ages 7–18 across all levels — from beginners learning fundamentals to elite players sharpening their positional play.
We run progressive levels (L1 → L4) so athletes develop in stages, supported by clinics, small group training, in-house leagues, club team options, and advanced development opportunities.
We believe volleyball IQ (decision making, court awareness) must evolve alongside physical skills.
Volleyballer was launched in 2021 by Ariel Newman and Jocelyn Drye, two women with deep experience in coaching, administration, and mentoring.
In 2025, Volleyballer expanded its reach by merging with Fusion Volleyball Club, bringing enhanced team opportunities for ages 13–17 while preserving a development-first culture.
Baller Basketball
The basketball arm — Baller Basketball — launched January 1, 2025.
It offers youth programming for beginners, intermediate skills academies for in-season athletes, and specialty training formats (e.g., 3×3 basketball) to develop quick thinking, ball handling, and teamwork under pressure.
We emphasize female-led coaching for girls — role models matter. Having women in leadership directly supports confidence, representation, and resilience.
What Makes Us Unique
We don’t just train the body. We mentor the mind and build character. Every session is grounded in respect — for oneself, teammates, coaches, referees, and the game itself.
We intentionally operate under female leadership. It is central to our mission, especially in today's sports culture.
We design programming that scales. Whether you’re just starting or chasing college-level competition, there’s room to grow structurally, physically, and mentally.
Our facility model includes more than training — we host homeschool PE classes, gym rentals, birthday parties, and community engagement.
